New Cars

Prior to purchasing a New Car an IVIC Structural Integrity Inspection can be undertaken at an approved IVIC Inspection Centre. A Structural Integrity Inspection Report and Certificate will be issued for the new car. A VIP CrashPack* will also be issued for the car. A VIP CrashPack* protects the structural integrity of the car for the life of the car.

Used Cars

Prior to purchasing a Used Car an IVIC Structural Integrity Inspection can be undertaken at an approved IVIC Inspection Centre.

✓ PASS

If the used car passes the IVIC Structural Integrity Inspection, then it is Crashworthy* and therefore is safe to drive. An IVIC Structural Integrity Inspection Report and Certificate will be issued for the used car. A VIP CrashPack* will also be issued for the used car. A VIP CrashPack* protects the structural integrity of the used car for the life of the car.

✗ FAIL

If the used car fails the IVIC Structural Integrity Inspection, then it is not Crashworthy* and therefore is not safe to drive. In this instance IVIC will assist the owner of the used car to rectify the problems.
